Everything You Need to Know About the Moose Sisters in Bend Oregon
Bend is fortunate to have many different cuisine options. From sushi to Mexican to pizza and obviously beer, Bend has it all. Here at Cascade Village Shopping Center, we have many different options to take a break from shopping for a quick bite to eat or relax with a refreshment. One of our dining options includes Moose Sisters, a restaurant serving American food with spirit. Read on to find out more about the Moose Sisters and their history with cuisine.
The Moose Sisters came to us from Sun Valley, Idaho, more specifically Ketchum, where they owned and operated Moose Girls Cafe for 15 years. The owners, Marlene Rinerson and Maxine Veloso, are indeed sisters and seem to feel the most at home in the mountains. The Cascade Mountain Range soon took the place of the Smoky Mountains of Idaho. In the nearly three years Moose Sisters have been in the Cascade Village Shopping Center, they’ve built a reputation with their varied menus. Ranging from lunch favorites like the Grilled Cheese Meatloaf to drink specials during happy hour to the Kobe Sister Burger with Moose-made bacon jam at dinner, Moose Sisters has a range of eclectic and unique options.
Moose Sisters’ has a build your own salad lunch option for $15. A deck overlooks the Cascade Village Shopping Center courtyard fountain while offering beautiful views of the mountains. It’s a great place to eat or have a cocktail when the weather is warm. The restaurant’s interior is complete with an open kitchen, a fireplace to sit while waiting for a table, and a full bar. It’s a place that is cozy, convenient, and delicious!

Moose Sisters is on the second level of the outdoor mall at the Cascade Village Shopping Center above Visionworks. They are open Mon-Thurs 11 am until 8 pm, Fri-Sat 11 am until 9 pm and Sunday 11 am until 4 pm .
