 POSITION:                             Team Leader

DEPARTMENT:                     Holiday Gift Center

REPORTS TO:                        Area Coordinator

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  This position is responsible for on-site management of a single HGC location, ensuring that staff, product and shop operations are handled in accordance with See’s guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance and safety.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

  1. Directly responsible for providing leadership to the HGC team to achieve goals, while meeting See’s standards for customer service. Promotes a sales driven working environment.
  2. Directly responsible for positively communicating and implementing Company direction, policies and programs. Delegates and follows up to ensure compliance.
  3. Provides appropriate training and coaching to all team members to ensure compliance with all rules, policies, procedures and programs. Monitors team members’ performance.
  4. Responsible for recruiting, selecting and recommending qualified candidates for hiring.
  5. Leads by example to ensure all team members are in compliance with Customer Service program; Visual Merchandising guidelines; Product Management and Loss Prevention; and Work Rules. Communicates with Area Coordinator regarding deviations from policies procedures.
  6. Directly responsible for ensuring all procedures related to cash handling, protection of See’s assets and banking are followed at all times.
  7. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of all timekeeping records. Responsible for adhering to and enforcing compliance with rules related to meals and rest periods.
  8. Implements weekly work schedule and consults with Area Coordinator when changes are needed due to fluctuation in business volume.
  9. Ensures all paperwork is submitted according with established deadlines. This includes all paperwork related to banking of See’s assets/receipts; new hire paperwork; and paperwork related to changes in employee personal data; sales information; inventory results; etc.
  10. Ensures all team members are in compliance with all Safety Program guidelines, including daily exercises, accident prevention, and reporting.
  11. Provides information required by the Area Coordinator and HGC Coordinator according to deadlines.
  12. Other projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including: stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.
  2. Minimum 3 years of management/supervisory experience.
  3. Proven success in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees.
  4. Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales driven team.

 POSITION:                             Assistant Team Leader

DEPARTMENT:                     Holiday Gift Center

REPORTS TO:                        Team Leader

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  This position is responsible for assisting the Team Leader in the on-site management of a single HGC location, ensuring that staff, product and shop operations are handled in accordance with See’s guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance and safety.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

  1. Ensures the location operates smoothly and in accordance with See’s policies and procedures in the Team Leader’s absence.
  2. Provides leadership to the team to achieve goals, while meeting See’s standards for customer service. Promotes a sales driven working environment.
  3. Responsible for positively communicating and implementing Company direction, policies and programs. Delegates and follows up to ensure compliance.
  4. Assists with training and coaching of all team members to ensure compliance with all rules, policies, procedures and programs. Monitors team members’ performance and addresses issues as directed by Team Leader and/or Area Coordinator.
