Family-Friendly Restaurants in Bend

Posted by Cascade Village

There’s nothing better than heading out to dinner with the family. You don’t have to cook or clean, and you get to enjoy a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. The problem is, many restaurants aren’t kid-friendly and the ones that are, don’t always offer the best selection. Thankfully, there are several family-friendly restaurants in Bend, Oregon where you can enjoy a peaceful environment and a good meal with the entire family.

Here Are a Few of Our Favorite Restaurants in Bend

Little Pizza Paradise

Little Pizza Paradise is one of our favorite restaurants in Bend. Not only is pizza an easy and inexpensive option no matter how big your family might be, but this down to earth establishment makes everything from scratch. Fresh, quality ingredients go into every slice from pepperoni to white or Mediterranean pizzas. Little Pizza Paradise also has a “wall of beer”, with more than 20 beers on tap and more than 25 beers in the bottle.

Thankfully, Little Pizza Paradise also has gluten-free options. Their gluten-free and vegan crust is made by Portland Gluten-Free Bakery. For those allergic to gluten, dairy, or eggs, this is an amazing alternative. Not to mention, they have several cider beers and wines available, so you don’t have to miss out on the beer either. If any member of your household has dietary restrictions, Little Pizza Paradise can accommodate you.

When you want something hearty and comforting (especially during a cold winter such as this one), Carino’s has a hot plate of 16-layer lasagna ready for you. Best of all, they offer lunch specials for those who wish to take the whole family out during the week. With all the accoutrements of an Italian dining experience, Carino’s is also an exceptionally casual and calm environment for the kids.

Moose Sisters

Moose Sisters is a local favorite that migrated from Sun Valley, Idaho to Bend, Oregon. Lucky us! The menu features every variety of comfort food you can imagine from a loaded baked potato complete with prime rib, bacon crumbles, and au jus, to rock shrimp macaroni and cheese and an oyster po-boy sandwich.

Heartier options are available if you’d prefer meatloaf with gravy or a premium cut of prime rib. Or, if you’d prefer something healthier, the coconut curry bowl is loaded with vegetables and topped with spicy cashews. Add a side of shoestring or sweet potato fries, and you’ll be ready for a relaxing meal with the family.
