Father’s Day at the Cascade Village Shopping Center

Posted by Cascade Village

Mark your calendars: Father’s Day takes place on June 21st this year. And although this year’s holidays have been altered by the pandemic, we can still celebrate. With Phase 1 and 2 well underway in Central Oregon, we are seeing more of our Cascade Village Shopping Center favorites opening up. Just in time for Father’s Day 2020!

Gift ideas for dad

It’s the age-old question: what do we get dad? Unfortunately, we can’t answer that for you exactly. But we can give you ideas based on what types of things your dad likes. Does he recreate Food Network meals or is he a BBQ-fiend? Does he like to spend his weekends outdoors fishing, camping, or hunting? Or maybe he works in an office and doesn’t explore as much as he’d like?

All dads are different, but here are some classic ideas to help you find the perfect gift.

Sporting goods

Whether your dad likes to golf, shoot hoops, partake in river activities, or is a gym rat, sporting goods are a classic gift route. Dick’s Sporting Goods at the CVSC has all the latest equipment and gear to keep dads happy and active.

Dad pamper day

Although this doesn’t have to include pedicures if your dad’s not into that, dads deserve to be pampered. An example of this could be a fresh haircut at Sports Clips or Regis Salon followed by a new outfit at Pro Image, Ross, or Men’s Wearhouse (depending on what dad needs). And ending with a filling lunch at CVSC staples like Left Coast Burger Company or El Rancho Grande. Bonus: you get to spend the day together!

Anything electronic

It might be a cliche, but dads tend to love their electronic gear. At the CVSC, we have options from AT&T and Sprint to Best Buy to keep dad upgraded and geared-up.

Gift cards

It’s the classic, simple gift that says get whatever you want most. You can make gift cards special by choosing one or two places that you know your dad loves. Up the ante by giving the certificate with his favorite candies or beer.

Find it all at the CVSC

At the Cascade Village Shopping Center, we have dozens of stores and restaurants for any sporty, practical, frequent-flyer-miles, kitchen-experimenter, funny, hardworking dad.
